George Mayers is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Art. He spent many years in New York Illustrating for Advertising Agancies and Major Magazines. His works has appeared in Time, Colliers, Redbook, Cirinet, Life and Fortune. His assignments often included subjects dealing with bothe the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Mayers works with Oils, watercolors and acrylic demonstrating a great facility in each. He has had many one-man shows and has been the recipient of several awards including the Freedoms Foundation Medal . His works are highly collectible and can be found in collections throughout the world.
